Picking 10 Awesome Assets to invest in with binary options in 2012

What will you trade in 2012?
People who are consistently successful in binary options trading tend to impose a routine for themselves that keeps them organized and ready for the challenge. That means setting regular hours for trading and for research. A disciplined routine helps you get into rhythm that makes it easier to process information as it comes in and to evaluate successes and failures properly in order to make the proper adjustments. Without a set routine, it is difficult to find patterns in the market and in the way that you relate to the market that you can take advantage of when you trade binary options. A routine is also good for concentration and relaxation. If you know that you will be busy trading during certain hours and reading up on the markets at other hours, it is easier to relax during the other parts of the day.

I bought the Sheriff ... but I did not buy the Deputy

While ambling through the wilds of Jamaica on a warm December afternoon, I realized I would be late for my next flight back home to Oceania.

Ho Ho Ho! Holiday Shopping Season is here
So, rather than worry about the lack of time in my schedule, I sat down, took in the amazing sights around me, and started jotting down some great gift ideas I came up with to get my favorite friends in the binary trading business.

To be honest, I ran out of amazing ideas after my fourth idea. I knew I had a lot more presents to get, particularly because I've had such an amazing year trading binary options. So, I searched the Internet for some great gifts for binary options traders ... and look what I found. A Top Ten list of gifts for binary options traders ... from the people behind binary-optionstrading.net and the little elves that help them pick out holiday presents.

Whatever you end up getting for the people you are going to shower with gifts, I sincerely hope you have a lovely holiday season, and that all your binary options trading is good and profitable.

Accurate Asset Analysis for Binary Options Trading

There's nothing like the Original binary options
No one wants to be held to being exactly correct; but most people don't mind being held to being somewhat accurate. How does this relate to binary options? This is exactly the beauty of binary options. With this type of investing, you don't have to be completely accurate and hit the price on the head for the asset; you simply have to make a prediction that follows the trend correctly. And this allows you to come within the ballpark and still gain money on your investment. This isn't about hitting the home run - you just have to be in the ballpark and you can still have a successful experience with binary options. Isn't that exciting? Most people find this to be a very appealing way to invest since it opens up so many possibilities for the investor!

Bring home the bacon with binary options affiliate programs

Affiliate Programs Can Dizzy You Up

An interesting point to ponder when you consider all the affiliate programs out there is why do binary options trading affiliate programs pay out so much more than all the rest. The reason is that rather than getting a cut of the revenue from a single occasional purchase, the binary options traders are using the site for repeated financial transactions, and the volume of revenue moving each time adds up much faster than most other affiliate programs. Binary trading affiliate programs are really interesting to explore when you look at them in this light and with the possibilities that they can shine on you.

I Trade Binary Options Commodities

Oil Commodity
There are stock markets around the world, each of which caters to a specific country. Some of the more popular stock market places include those in Bombay, Frankfurt, Japan, Switzerland, Shanghai, New York, London and America. The stock market ups and downs are definitely part of the ebb and flow of the country's economy; and sometimes they are even the item that precipitates changes in the economy. One type of activity that happens at the stock market, for instance, is with binary options. Here, investors select an asset and a time frame. They decide how much they want to invest in a prediction and then they predict what will happen with the stock or other asset in a given time frame. This is the type of activity, along with buying and selling stocks, that you'd see on the stock market.

Affiliation Programme for traders of binary options

dizzy 4 dollars
So many people today love binary options trading. It offers a great way to invest without having to wait a long time to see your returns. It also offers a way to know up front what you stand to gain if your prediction is correct. Since so many people enjoy binary options, it makes sense to become part of a binary options trading affiliates program. Doing so means that you would work to drive traffic from your site to the binary options site, and thus make money by encouraging people to visit a place you already enjoy.

I, Tip

Zebra Hug of Binary Trading Proportion
When you get to a binary trading site like www.optionsclick.com, you'll see that it's incredibly easy to get started. First, you log in and click on the trade tab. Then, you'll decide which type of binary options trading you want to do. Do you want high/low, one touch or range investing? You can then do everything else on the site with only three clicks! Select the asset from the drop-down list, select the direction you want to use, and enter what you want to invest. Then, it's time to watch the trade take place and to see what happens. Don't get too discouraged if the graph doesn't do what you want at first, instead, use it to learn and predict better for the next trade.

3 More portraits by a binary options trader

Franz Kafka

Andy Rooney
Notorious BIG
It has been a little while since my last post on here, and I have been trading many binary options and drawing many portraits since our last encounter. I was studying up a bit about binary options trading and trying to learn more about the industry, in the hopes of trading better. One thing I have noticed is that nearly all the binary trading places expect you to be only on their tab in their browser, when nearly every user is on multiple tabs and windows surfing multiple sites at the same time. Another thing I noticed is that some of the places have tutorials to better trade binary options, and other places simply have a platform to trade, with no tools to guide you to being a better trader. One of the sites I have used to trade binary options is optionsclick.com - and they seemed to have a good platform and have won a few awards. Another site I have found good to use is CENSORED and they are basically the same as optionsclick but don't have the customer service support that optionsclick has, which for me is important as I don't want to trade and have an issue come up and then be corresponding with emails. Rather talk to a human being and get back to trading and know that while I am trading, I have someone to talk to in case I need to. It is sort of a "nice to have" feature which is critical if you are lacking it and it is effecting your concentration and worse, your binary options trading.

I, Artist - Binary Abstract

Abstract Of Binary Trading Art
When trading binary options, there are large swings and movements in the market at the most unexpected times. Rallies and rush-exits are something that the market simply experiences over time and can't really be avoided or fabricated. Binary options trading allows for a unique trading dynamic where much of the guess work is eliminated from the equasion, reducing it to a simple binary decision of hi/low, yes/no. right/left, under/over and those types scenarios.

The problem many novice traders experience at the onset of their trading career is that they OVER focus on the logic and reason of a stocks behavior, instead of just having a live and let live attitude about it. A good trick for jump starting that ability is to draw artwork or some other form of hobby while you are trading binary options. It allows you to maintain a level of focus and still be able to ratify your time by earning a few bucks, even if you don't sell the artwork, or till you are good enough of an artist to make a living off your artwork and binary options trading is just a cash cow you keep in the background.

Midnight Binary Options Trader.

'Maybe' is not in the binary trading vocabulary.
There are 2 excellent benefits that derive from being a binary options trader. The first is that you don't have to be in an office, nor commute to any office in order to trade. All you need is a decent computer with stable internet connection. The second perk is that you are basically working durring either EST or GMT business hours, so if you live in a far away time zone, you can basically just trade a few hours in the afternoon or evening to keep your balance above where you want it to be. Just keep in mind that its morning in those time zones, and the trade behavior will be the beginning of day, even though that might not be the case where you are located.

Working for tips. Binary Options Trader tips from experience

Must be well balanced binary options trader, Danialsaan
Many tips out there that you will find revolving around the concept of a better trading platform, use their binary options system, and other technical details that are obvious ploys to lure you to their website. My tip is rather not on how to play, but on the state of mind that you need to cultivate in order to succeed when you trade binary options. Amongst the most successful of the traders are those that really have valuable insight. I have spoken in person with some of these binary options traders and what they shared with me will not only allow you to better trade binary options at an effective rate that yield consistent returns, but it will also train you on how to maintain an emotional state that encourages a healthy mindset which is key for repeated gains and profit growth.  The pseudo sciences of the nineties have either disappeared into the great abyss of history or remain with a dedicated following by those that swear by it's abilities and power. I have chosen to explore these surviving pseudo-sciences in an effort to see what application they can be utilized within for the purpose a better way to trade binary options.

Binary options trading is about pattern recognition and being able to anticipate the future based on past-data. Once your state of mind is in the place it needs to be, these patterns will appear much more clear and solidified in a way that you will confidently and accurately predict market movements, and hence the choice needed to be made on each binary option.  Of course no system is perfect and you will still make losses because of outliers in the data matrix, but overall the goal is to be correct more often than wrong and yield a profit over time, not just in one trade.

Trade today, free tomorrow.

Maze of not so parallel lines - Binary Trading Art
One of the main reasons that folks endeavor to trade in binary options is for the simple fact that it perhaps offers them a glimpse of fortunes or early retirement. The danger with this form of thinking is that the type of skills needed to make a strong return on binary options trading is not learned overnight and alot of folks invest heavily in the early stages of the process when they should be focused on learning how to best trade binary option, rather than going directly into the money making scheme.

So for all those out there looking to get out of their daily rut, try trading in binary options with small amount until you get the hang of it and are able to comfortably trade with larger and larger amounts. Good luck!

I, Web-Artist - Art created digitally while trading binary options | Summer 2011

Drawings made while trading binary options:

Part of trading binary options is having the patience to let the closing time expire without freaking out and selling it at a loss because you are running on fuzzy and emotional math rather than logic. By distracting and drawing something in those few minutes, you can calm your nerves and maybe skim a bit more profit from your overall time. And having artwork is minor perk of the entire approach.

Egg Credible Optical Illusion
I call this one "Eggredible" as it is a psychedelic simple color drawing with the impression of an egg in the middle. And you guessed it, I made this while trading binary options, specifically forex indices.
Let It Rain!

This web-art I call "let it rain" as it has the ripples through a puddle that reminds me of how the ground is as it starts to rain. Created while trading binary options of gold and oil. The oil part I get, as this web-art mimics liquid, but what is up with the gold?
Take Us To Your LEADER

I had no idea how this web art would come out as I was drawing this and trading FTSE and GOOGLE stock as a binary option. I call this one "Take me to your leader" as it looks like 3 beings of super-natural origin presenting them selves to the viewer in an alien looking way. Either that or it looks like Alien eggs ready to spawn the new race of floating circles.
Almost Not Touching

This is a piece of web-art I call "Almost Not Touch" as I was trading binary options of the touch/not-touch kind and had the concept in my mind as I made circles and then defined them as an area to apply the gradient and then chose the opposite of that area for a gradient with the opposite direction
When Clouds Collide

I wish I had a good story or example to give you about how I made this one, but I actually made this after quitting my binary options trading for the day and was just taking a breather and closing up for the day.

Binary Options Trading Tip #616: Stop, Drop, and Don't Roll

As a seasoned binary options trader, I often get asked by amateurs what they should do to make more money with their trading, which investments to go for, etc etc.  The truth is that the average person has the ability to read graphs with enough accuracy to be able to make smart enough trades to gain a profit, even in a short period of time. The problem is that those without the experience and skills will continue to trade even if they keep loosing.  Stopping when you are loosing is far more important than making money, as whatever you make can be lost in an hour or two of bad decisions.

The market is not something that can be controlled or willed to doing what you want or performing to your hearts content. The market will stagger and stumble in whatever direction real-world demand dictates and the binary options trader is stuck guess where it will go next.  Rather than trying to decipher a complex situation, stop your trading, log out, and don't trade anymore till tomorrow. Rather than trying to re-coupe your losses, you need to cut-loose and mitigate your losses as much as possible.

You can study up and learn the Black-Scholes valuation formula, or you can trade binary options till you can't no more, but if you see that you are loosing money the STOP, keep that cash at least till tomorrow.

Binary Options Trading - 'Tis all about the Benjamins

Benjamin Franklin Caricature
Binary options trading is a unique form of investment that lets you utilize various aspects of the market to make a profit in areas that where solely for loss purposes in the past. Typically, you would only be able to make money if the market made money, then short-sales were invented and you could make money when the market went down and you accurately predicted that. Nowadays, with the advent of binary options trading, you are able to make money in an easy fashion whether it goes up, down, or remains the same. The purpose is to put the financial instruments in binary, options, trading, binary options trading, black-scholes, finance, financial modelpeople who can predict the market, and then allow them to use that information and knowledge to convert it to profit. This way, even a stagnant, volatile, bear or bull market can make a trader an income, as long as s/he correctly predicts that market.

Aside from this, there is also the aspect that traders have less influence on the market, an aspect the hedge-funds and other market leaders have relied on in the past to manipulate the prices in the market. Now with the latest binary options trading platforms, there is very little concern that the market will react to false demand.

Binary Options Trading - Super Tips

Get you paws on as much as you can
Top Ten Super-Tips for using the Black-Scholes Valuation formula to gain large profits with online binary options trading:

These tips are called "super-tips" as the regular tips we give are designed for novice traders. These tips are designed for more advanced users who are willing to forego some excitement and risk in exchange for dull, boring, and more consistent profits.

  1. Trade only in small amounts till you have a much stronger grasp on that specific commodity, stock or indice.
  2. Utilize "closable" options to hedge the rise so that you can make very quick 20% to 40% gains rather than drawn out 85% gains that carry a risk of 100% loss.
  3. Be technical analytical and review the graphs for patterns and predictability. Only trade in graphs of options you feel comoftable predicting.
  4. Better to not trade for a half hour than loose durring that half hour.
  5. Don't hedge your risk by trading in opposing option. The profit of 85% comes at a risk of 100%, so hedging like that will result in an across-the-board 15% loss.
  6. Remember: Its important to avoid losses as much as it is to achieve gains.
  7. Don't let losses or gains effect you overall strategy. Emotion are your enemy in this game.
  8. With currency related binary trade, compare different currencies to narrow down which ones are actually falling and which ones are only relativity falling
  9. Avoid trading binary options at the beginning of market open unless specific events in the news provide a window of predictability.
  10. Learn from your mistakes. Binary Options Trading is an aquired skill. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, but do avoid repeating them.

We hope you've enjoyed these tips. Please feel free to leave comments or questions. These tips are based on Trading Binary Options on OptionsClick.com - not sure about any other sites.

Why is gold going up so fast?

Price of gold can be relative in binary options
HOUSTON: While many analysts have forecast that gold prices will eventually hit USD 3,000 an ounce, after hitting a record USD 1,800/ounce last week, economic experts at Kansas State University have warned that it is only a matter of time before the bubble bursts.

The huge federal deficit and a deteriorating economy have made many investors fearful of the US economy entering a period of stagnation, driving stock prices downward, said Lloyd Thomas, an economics professor at Kansas State University.

In this period of uncertainty, many are selling stocks and corporate bonds and putting their money into gold.

Recently, gold prices skyrocketed to as high as USD 1,800 an ounce and Thomas said the price might continue to creep higher as economic concerns grow.

"But in 2000, the price of gold was USD 300 an ounce. It has gone up six-fold since then and it might go up higher than what it is right now. It's gone up too fast -- it's a bubble," he claimed.

Thomas compared his gold prediction to the housing market.

"People were lulled into thinking housing prices could never fall, but they fell more than 30 per cent in most American cities. The same thing could happen to gold; it's not risk-free," he said.

"In the last 10 years it's gone up 17 per cent a year, but the price of things we purchase has only gone up 3 per cent a year. That's unsustainable. It's my own opinion that gold prices will collapse -- I just don't know when," Thomas said.

How To Trade Binary Options:

One investment platform that has become very popular in the online trading community – especially with beginners – is trading binary options. The benefits are so great that beginners and pros alike are trading binary options and learning how to trade this financial instrument.

Learning the ins and outs of binary option trading is relatively simple. Here, we will talk about how to trade binary options and learn about navigating these powerful instruments.

The Basics of Trading: Where and How
Does the Dalai Lama Trade Binary Options?
Becoming a binary option trader first means knowing where you can trade them and how they work.
The best way to trade in binary options is to go through an online brokerage. An online brokerage writes contracts for various binary options, which are offered on the value of financial assets such as currency pairs, commodities and stocks. These contracts come with a purchase price, an expiry (the time at which the contract expires), and the conditions for profit (usually a strike price or barrier price).
To participate, you simply need to find a broker that deals in the contracts that you prefer – most online brokers deal in multiple types so you can trade both stock binary options and forex binary options with the same options broker, for example.
Once you register and deposit funds, you choose between two general types: above/below options and touch or barrier options. Some binary options brokers also offer range or boundary binary options as well.
Above/below options basically allow you to take a position on whether an asset’s value will be above or below the current value when you buy it, by the expiry. A touch or barrier option requires that an asset price reach or surpass a certain price or value at least once before the contract expires. Range or boundary binary options mandate that the asset’s value be in between two specific values or prices at expiry.

Being “In-The-Money”
Make sure you come out ahead of the other traders.
How do you know you are in-the-money? The conditions of the contract will give you the targets you need to hit, and these differ by the type of option.
Let’s take XYZ Corporation, which has shares at $10.00. An above/below option says that XYZ will rise by the end of the trading day. If you purchase a call option, you are taking the position that by the end of the trading day, XYZ will be higher than $10.00. If it is at $10.01, you are in-the-money.
With barriers or touch options, the contract may say that XYZ has to be at $12.00 or higher at least once by the end of the trading day. If you buy a call option, and XYZ is at $12.00 or higher at least once before trading closes, then you are in-the-money. If the highest value it reaches is $11.99 before the contract expires, though, you lose.
With range or boundary binary options, the contract may stipulate that the value of XYZ stock has to be in between $11.50 and $12.00 by the close of trading for the day. If XYZ is trading at $11.90, you are in-the-money. If it’s trading at $11.54, you lose your investment.

Payouts
Payouts differ depending on the type of option you choose. Above/below options and range binary options pay out typically 70-85% of the original investment. Barrier options are riskier, so they pay out as much as 300% or more of the original investment.
The payout is your profit. Of course, if you do not meet the requirements, you will lose 80-100% of your original investment.

Conclusion
Learning all about binary options means understanding the key concepts, and knowing where to go to trade them. As with any financial instrument, there is risk involved – but the upside potential, as well as ease of use, makes them attractive options for beginners and pros alike.

NHS faces growing financial pressure, how it effect GBP

NHS faces growing financial pressure, how it effect GBP

by 99binaryoptions on August 11, 2011
The NHS has an uncertain future. What does that have an effect on the Great British Pound (GBP) and other currency markets. Keep these
Citizens Band Radio Binary Trader SELL SELL SELL

details in mind when trading currency or placing positions on when trading binary options online.  The main thing to remember is that the uncertainty means that it can rally one day, or dive the next, however, elements like the trading volume and speculation buying can help the stats go awry in regards to where the market really stands.
Here is the article, you can read it in full at this link    Thanks to Binary Options Blog for posting this and sharing.

Audit Commission finds NHS made £4.3bn of efficiency savings last year but financial challenges are increasing
Most NHS organisations have made good progress in cutting costs to reach the £20bn savings required of them, but they face growing financial pressure, according to the Audit Commission.
In its report on the 2010-11 financial accounts of primary care trusts (PCTs), NHS trusts and strategic health authorities, the commission says that, assuming there is no double counting, efficiency savings totalled £4.3bn for the year.
PCTs reported savings of £1.9bn and NHS trusts reported savings of £1.2bn. These figures are equival
ent to 1.9% of PCTs’ gross operating costs and 4.3% in the case of NHS trusts. Regulator Monitor reported that the percentage for foundations trusts was slightly lower at 3.9%, which equates to £1.2bn.
The NHS in England needs to save an average of £5bn, equivalent to about 5% of their budgets, every year until 2015 to release £20bn of efficiency savings.
The document warns that financial pressure is increasing. Nearly 25% of the money saved so far came from one-off or non-recurrent savings, mostly improving clinical productivity and reducing workforce costs.
In addition, the need to deliver high-quality services without the funding growth of the recent past will have an impact. In 2010-11 PCTs received average cash funding increases of 5.5%, but in 2011-12 this is only 2.2%.
The document says NHS organisations will require determined effort and strong leadership to make further efficiency savings, and to continue to do so for four years.
Overall, the commission found that the financial performance of the NHS continues to be good, and that organisations reported a surplus of £1.5bn, or some 1.5% of NHS resources. Only nine out of 276 organisations failed to balance their books.
NHS Confederation deputy director of policy Jo Webber said many NHS leaders have got their organisations on a strong financial footing, but are worried that “this might be the calm before the storm”.

Some common info on what are binary options:

Binary option (From Wikipedia)

In finance, a binary option is a type of option where the payoff is either some fixed amount of some asset or nothing at all. The two main types of binary options are the cash-or-nothing binary option and the asset-or-nothing binary option. The cash-or-nothing binary option pays some fixed amount of cash if the option expires in-the-money while the asset-or-nothing pays the value of the underlying security. Thus, the options are binary in nature because there are only two possible outcomes. They are also called all-or-nothing options, digital options (more common in forex/interest rate markets), and Fixed Return Options (FROs) (on the American Stock Exchange). Binary options are usually European-styleoptions.
For example, a purchase is made of a binary cash-or-nothing call option on XYZ Corp's stock struck at $100 with a binary payoff of $1000. Then, if at the future maturity date, the stock is trading at or above $100, $1000 is received. If its stock is trading below $100, nothing is received.
In the popular Black-Scholes model, the value of a digital option can be expressed in terms of the cumulative normal distribution function.

A binary option is aBinary Options Trader - Worried and stressed fixed return option because there are only 2 possible outcomes which are fully realized at the onset of the contract
A binary option is a contract which gives the buyer (known as the owner) the right, but not the obligation, to buy an underlying asset at a fixed price within a specified time frame.
The items being traded are known as underlying assets and they could be a range of products: currencies (e.g. USD/JPY), commodities (e.g. Oil, Gold), stocks (e.g. Microsoft, Coca Cola) or indices (e.g. Nasdaq, FTSE 100). The fixed price at which the owner buys or sells at, is known as the strike price.
When trading binary options, the buyer of the option chooses whether he thinks the underlying asset will hit the strike price by the selected expiry time – this could be at the end of the nearest hour or the end of the day, week or month.
The owner places a call option on his binary option trade if he thinks that at the expiry time the option will be higher than the current price. He places a put option if he thinks that at the expiry time the option will be lower than the current price.

Casino vs binary trading

Are binary options like gambling?

I have heard several times from people that when you are buying and selling Binary Options, your are basically gambling. While this may be the case for some people who have addiction issues, they are both quite different.

Casino games are based on luck and binary trading is based on real market conditions. This is not to say that casino's don't also involve skill or that binary trading doesn't experience luck, but the basis for the trades and exchanges of the two are very different.

The thing is that casino games are designed for users to win in order to keep them entertained and binary trading are based on which ever direction the market swings, So not sure which one is better.

Stock Tip? Boeing, BAE to Build 'Laser Machine Gun

The stock tip below caught my eye because I personally have always wanted to have my own laser machine gun, and because it will change the economics of war and that is something that I, as a Binary Day Trader need to be kept abreast of.  I found this article at http://pimp-my-trades.blogspot.com/2011/07/boeing-bae-to-build-laser-machine-gun.html

I found this article while trolling the web and aside from thinking that it is very much out of sci-fi movies to shoot stuff with a laser gun, I also think that it will result in strong performance from the companies developing it.  The primary companies involved are Boeing and BAE, so keep a sharp eye out for their stock performance.

Boeing, BAE to Build 'Laser Machine Gun'

Published July 27, 2011

Like peanut butter and chocolate, the U.S. Navy thinks machine guns and lasers are two great tastes that taste great together. They hope the combination of old school lead with new school "pew" will better protect their ships from attack by smaller boats.

BAE Systems, a British defense firm, already makes the giant machine guns that protect warships from approaching watercraft. Tuesday, Boeing announced that it will team up with BAE Systems to develop a solid-state laser that would work in tandem with the already potent weapon.

"Boeing is committed to developing this directed energy system that will significantly enhance ship defense," said Michael Rinn, Boeing DES vice president. "Combining BAE's engineering expertise with the proven directed-energy proficiency of Boeing's DES division creates a team uniquely qualified to integrate directed-energy technology into the Navy's shipboard armaments."
BAE won the contract to develop the laser, which the Navy envisions as a countermeasure against small drones, tiny boats and anything else that gets too close a Navy surface vessel. Now, Boeing has joined the team to develop the prototype weapon.
It's anybody's guess what kind of threat a machine guns or lasers can't defeat on their own (Mothra? Decepticons? Kraken?). But now that 19th century ballistic technology has teamed up with 21st century ray gun tech, whatever that enemy may be will think twice about messing with a U.S. Navy warship.
